Overview

A dashboard that puts users in control of their own data — and lets them profit from it.

About BCA Protocol

BCA Protocol is a Web3 AI infrastructure platform built by BCA Labs — a Singapore-based company backed by Google grants and part of the NVIDIA Inception program. Users contribute browsing data to train AI models and earn token rewards. I was brought in to design the complete app UI — Dashboard, Leaderboard, Quests, and Referral — shipped in one month.

Challenges

Make complex Web3 concepts feel simple and rewarding.

BCA Protocol sits at the intersection of blockchain, zero-knowledge proofs, AI data training, and token economics. The core challenge wasn't technical — it was communication. How do you onboard a mainstream user into a product this complex without overwhelming them?

The platform also needed to drive recurring engagement through gamification — quests, tier progression, a referral program, and a competitive leaderboard. Designing for motivation was as important as designing for clarity.

Design Solutions

Four screens.
One cohesive system.

Each screen serves a distinct user need while maintaining visual and functional coherence. Scroll to see each screen.

Dark-first Design System

Deep navy/dark purple base with vibrant magenta and green accents — matching the brand's energetic Web3 identity while keeping text legible at all hierarchy levels.

Gamified Progression

Tier badges, leaderboard rank, referral counters, and quest rewards create a layered engagement loop — each mechanism reinforces the others, driving both daily visits and viral growth.

Outcome

Blockchain complexity, hidden. User value, front and center.

The dashboard was designed as part of BCA Labs' beta platform, which launched in 2024. BCA Labs received grants from Google and is part of the NVIDIA Inception Program, validating the technical ambition behind the product. The UI work focused on making the protocol accessible to a mainstream audience.
